In typical Frenchie-Canadian fashion, Eric Gagne, now of the powerhouse Milwaukee Brewers, issued a half-assed, lame “apology” of sorts on Monday.
Gagne couldn’t handle the pressure of the playoffs last season with the Sawks so it’s fitting that he landed in Milwaukee, because who knows the last time they had a meaningful playoff run. Let’s see, top criteria for Eric Gagne in the offseason…
1. Play for a small market team with little shot of being a contender…CHECK
2. Give pathetic “apology” for my peformance enhancing drug use…CHECK
Perhaps the best part about Gagne’s whimpering was that he decided to issue a special apology in French to his fellow Frenchie media that were present. Well isn’t that cute.
I’m sick of all the wieners out there like Gagne. Too many baseball players refuse to admit their mistakes and instead issue half-assed apologies that are flat-out pathetic. I wish there were more Andy Pettittes out there who are man enough to admit their mistakes and then field questions about it as well. Kudos to you Mr. Pettitte. Shame on you Mr. Gagne and company.
