While Reggie Bush may not be the fastest man in the NFL, he’s close to it and his name is synonymous with speed; that is why I elected him as the first NFL player to participate in this challenge. It is beautiful in its simplicity and in fan involvement, as well as raising some money for a good cause.

Reggie Bush vs. Average Joe: In a Foot Race!
Frankly, he doesn’t have to be named Joe and preferably he isn’t average athletically, but has some experience in running, probably a high school athlete. But, I liked the title.
So here is the gist, it’s a race between Reggie Bush and said average athlete. What? That’s dumb, you say. But when the event is held at Universal Studios, Florida and the average athlete is running on a “moving sidewalk,” the flat escalator-type thing that pushes drones of people into the park faster, that’s where it gets interesting. People wager on the contenders and proceeds go to the charity of the winner’s choice.
To me, it seems like a great way to get fans involved and I’d love to see the race happen. The Reggie Bush race, in fact, could be the main event of the afternoon, and fans from all over get to race their favorite athletes as a precursor.
I’m not sure how we can make this happen, but maybe if you Digg this article to the top of the list, people will notice, who knows. Until then, happy training.
On second thought, I’ll kick it off… I challenge Reggie Bush to a race… anytime, Universal Studios, no performance enhancers besides my moving sidewalk!
P.S. I’ll wear a company’s T-Shirt for a small fee.
